July 30th we will plant more green beans, basil, cilantro, and fall sunflowers. Plus, we will enjoy a snack prepared with freshly harvested salad greens, ripe red cherry tomatoes, yellow wax beans, and cucumbers. We will also sneak a few potatoes out of the potato patch so the kids can continue to see the process of how potatoes grow.

September, 2010: No events scheduled.
October, 2010: Saturday October 16, 3-5pm. End of season harvest & clean-up at the Milwaukee garden. The plan is to take down tomato stakes, roll up drip irrigation, and make sure the garden is left as clean as when we got it. Take home summer's remaining tomatoes, peppers, and beans; plus we have fall beets, carrots, lettuce, spinach, green onions, cilantro, fennel, and beautiful flowers! (Rain date is Sunday October 17, same time.)
